M.Pollastrini
Primary tabs
Martina Pollastrini studied the photosynthetic responses of the poplar clone to drought and ozone stress. Her main research interests are the climate change impact on the forest ecosystem; interactions among drought-ozone (and in general oxidative stress) and vegetation; effects of environmental stress in Populus; stress physiology; stable isotopes in plant physiology; forest biodiversity. She is skilled in the plant ecophysiology techniques, in the field and in the laboratory (gas exchange, fluorescence, isotopes, microscopy). In particular she is interesting in the application of the chlorophyll fluorescence measurements (prompt fluorescence and not only) in the assess to plant performance in relation to stress (drought, ozone, UV, pathogen).
